Kendra Gauge – Writer

Kendra Gauge, M.A., is an award-winning writer and filmmaker based out of SE Iowa. A serial hobbyist, she spends most of her free time reading, writing, crocheting, bookbinding, or making silly videos for the interwebs fighting book banning and advocating for literacy. A graduate student with a full-time job and a side gig as a piercer in her parents’ tattoo shop, Kendra is fighting for her life alongside her four dogs, three ferrets, two cats, and one spouse.

Kendra Gauge does not partake in the use of unethically sourced generative AI for creative endeavors. AI has the ability to be a great tool that could be a solution to many problems in the world, but is often used instead to steal from hard-working and talented creatives or to spread misinformation. AI, particularly LLMs, have no place in Kendra’s writing process.
